We believe very strongly in supporting local groups and charities and each year the firm raises funds for local charities through various initiatives including giving talks to groups and organisations in return for a donation as well as giving its time to help those groups.

In the past six years we have supported and raised funds for Devon Air Ambulance, donating over £14,000 towards their valuable work in our area. We continue to support them with advice and fundraising as well as sponsoring their Legacy Officer in her membership of the Institute of Legacy Management.

We are pleased to also support Hospiscare and have sponsored their Opera evening here at Cadhay as well as taking part in the Will Fortnight scheme raising over £3,600 for the charity in 2019.

We continue to support local groups through our Community Grant Scheme including the Tipton St John Playing Field Association after the sports pavilion was damaged by vandals and also providing funds towards the new play equipment at the village playing fields.

We continue to offer pro bono advice, support and training to local groups, including the Exmouth Dementia Careers Group, Devon Careers, The Alzheimer’s Society Devon, The Ottery Help Scheme, Later life forum – Ottery St Mary and Mencap.

We believe in supporting local talented sportsmen and women and choose each year to support different sporting disciplines.

We are keen rugby fans and are pleased to sponsor Exeter Chiefs players Ian Whitten, Sean Lonsdale and Marcus Street, as well as sponsoring the Under 18 Girls’ side at Sidmouth Rugby Club as they begin their journey to become a top ladies side in Devon.

We are proud to be supporting Mia, a local 14 year old female BMX rider, from the Exeter Eagles BMX Club. Mia was the number one ranked rider in the South West in 2019, as well as being ranked British No.2 and National No.4. This year she will be part coached by British Cycling and is hopeful to be considered for the British Olympic BMX Team as well.

We are pleased to be continuing our sponsorship of 22 year old local legal secretary, Victoria, as she contests the National Hillclimb and Sprint Championships in her historic Mini Cooper S racing car for the 2020 season. Victoria has won various awards over the last 2 seasons and finished the 2019 season as overall Class Winner in the HRCR Hillclimb and Sprint Championship.
